Offering Plates are passed during the Sunday morning and evening services.

Offering envelopes are available in the back of the sanctuary on the tables.

Why Do We Give?

One expression of our faith in God is through giving a portion of our income back to Him. There are numerous passages in the Bible which teach both the importance and benefits of generous giving. (See Proverbs 3:9-10, Malachi 3:10, Luke 6:38, 2 Corinthians 9:8-14) We give not because God needs our money, but because through giving our faith in God is increased.

The ministry of Maynard Baptist Church is funded by God’s provision through the tithes and offerings of faithful Maynard members and regular attenders. Within the realm of handling our finances, it is our goal to ensure that we honor God’s provision by exercising wise and faithful stewardship, ethical business practices, and full accountability so that the financial integrity of Maynard Baptist Church remains beyond reproach.

Our mission is facilitated through our system of internal controls over financial reporting and our internal budgeting and reporting processes.
